[Official] Myspace => Kong S2 Merge January 6th, 2013

Since mass majority of players have voted for the merge, then we will start the preparation for the merge to Kong S2. However, since we are in the middle of a important event and 24th is only couple days away, we have decided to post-pone the merge to after the event is over, on Monday January 6th, 2014. This way players on both servers wont be losing FREE Mystery Boxes during the hours of downtime and MS server will get bit more time to try to catch up on the easier setting (we have reverted back the boss difficulty until the merge).

The expected downtime on the merge date, Monday January 6th, 2014, is between 2-6 hours, but might take slightly longer if unexpected things arise. The downtime should start shortly after the daily refresh.

NOTE: ONLY the following four guilds will be merged to Kong S2. All others or newly created guild between now and then will NOT be merged!
DS1, MoW, GFz, DND

Things that will be kept and merged over to Kong S2;
- All player related data (including items, storage, badges, cards, records, etc).
- All allies data (including skill level)
- Town wall (we have decided to enable this feature on Kong S2 but make it accessible only to MySpace migrated users because you guys won't have access to kongregate chat)
- Guild data for the above four guilds (guild status, fame/boss completion count, vault items)
- Since global bosses bonus will be lost, the 4 merged guild will receive 50% extra bonus for 1 week post merge.

Things will be lost and will NOT be merged:
- Global Boss Records Bonuses (Faction War, Atlantis, Mystics, Invasion, Fallen)
- Pending guild vault requests and guild member donate/join records
- Unfinished guild bosses and unclaimed rewards (make sure you finish/claim before the merge!)
- All non-announcement messages found on the homepage. Make sure you claim your items/rewards!

After the merge is complete, you will be able to log into the game the same way as before (from http://ms.playmage.com/dw.jsp). You will not be able to chat with Kong S2 players, but you can interact with them in all other normal game mechanisms.

Ok kool was gonna ask for a time extend til Jan16 that way IF it was decided to merge the players would be abir more accustomed to the settings. Also see the new rules so then we will lose our boss/hell count as well? :o also wanted to say thx for ya'lls hard work to make the game more convenient for us though i am gonna miss the massive attack we were doin before but what can we do. What happens with all the other guilds? Will they still be able to play here?

First. let me say thanks for delaying the merger till the 6th. that was most cool. now. as i understand what you wrote. just the chat feature will not be available to us right? we will still be able to talk with k2 players on the town and guild wall (if they join), right? also, there is a lot of concern among ms players about weather we can join guilds already in k2 or weather the k2 players can join ms guilds. and, once there. can we build our own new guild on k2?

the communcation issue and being able to take on new players or join k2 guild, are a MAJOR concern for all the ms players. our chat and wall has been non stop on these issues since you posted. anything you can do to clarify this would be greatly appreciated.

My son is in 666, nowadays mainly auto-explore, but he plans to play later. Is it possible to merge that guild too? Especially because guild vault is full of useful items.

The reason all other guilds will not merged is that they only have 1 active player (within last 7 days) in them and each guild we need to merge will significantly increase the downtime. The players in the other guild will still be merged, just their guild data will not. It's recommended that they take the most valuable items in the guild vault with them before the merge happens and perhaps join in of the 4 merging guilds

You can change with K2 players on the guild wall. If you guys prefer, we can allow them to also write and see the town walls as well to increase communication between players from the two merged servers.

Is it possible to remove the 24 hours waiting time in the last 2-3 days to be able to move items between guilds?
And the 4 hours waiting time between item pickup from vault?

that takes care of the communication issue, and merging player issue. Still need to know if we can, once there. join k2 player guilds, and them our guilds? and, can we create new guilds once there? after an answer to that. i think that will cover the concerns of the majority of MS players. thanks.

I agree with Sanya. If the restrictions for items withdrawal and guild admission are removed, we can all help gather some of the gear that are in guild vaults.

this may be a stupid question but how are we going to chat on guild walls with kong 2 players if we arent in their guilds?
