Just to drop some bits of hints and expectations with the new Horsemen boss cards, so there will be no major surprises on Thursday. While they are not same as Panzer cards, they are great cards in their own rights, and have advantages and disadvantages compared the Panzers limited-time boss cards.
Pros vs Panzers:
- Higher average damage output per turn than Panzer when using same element cards in the battle team.
- Special skills has same CD and the bonus damage lasting two battle turns instead of only one - doubling the average damage bonus per skill usage.
- Can be evolved into 8-star card for higher stats (thus higher damage).
- Fewer rounds/waves to farm (7 waves instead of 10 waves).
- Pair with normal attack boosting skills for potential enormous damage.
Cons vs Panzers:
- Inconsistent damage (output based on luck with the spin and symbols changed) and requires special team setup for best performance.
- Slightly harder to obtain - since they can be evolved we can't give out 2 boss cards at once, they are only available as collection bonus reward on the "Insane" level, and only as golden box drops on the "Hell" level (and not as collection bonus). This means you can only get one Horsemen card per element (up to 5) from the "Insane" level. The drop rates for Horsemen are the same as Panzers on the "Hell" level.
- Slightly higher command cost due to potential excessive damage per skill usage.
As mentioned in another thread, Panzers are limited-time boss cards (they may return again in the far distant future). While Panzer cards may be the best consistent damage dealers, there are also other cards in the game that can do respectable consistent damage in the game as well (including normal dragon with high skill level). While it's a great idea to try to get a Panzer while it's possible before Thursday, there is no need to panic just because a limited-time boss card is going out of rotation, because there will be many more great limited-time boss cards to come.
