How about instead of getting rid of free potions which this game needs to be enjoyable, we get a map that burns potions so bad that some players will feel inclined to spend on them after have burned there 600 rp surplus?
A map that costs say 50 energy and has a desirable skill card to farm. Different card every Week. If you want the card you have ONE day to get it or you miss out. Make it damn hard but a worthy reward. Now instead of hoping and praying for potions to appear in shop the player impulse buys enough to get that card they never thought they'd get from a random gem recruit.
Lets say the 4th card was naga and the map burned 7 revives or more. Everyone could use a full skilled naga. Id burn every revive i have to get that! And if I only had one day to do it id probably pretend to be sick, spend a few bucks and get my naga skilled. Next week Homunculus is farmable. Now thos 8 star versions are actually feasible to skill. But only one day to do it. It would be intense, challenging, and rewarding.
