Deadeyes

Why do you have the AI move forward? It is a ranged unit, and extra range is its main benefit. But it quickly throws that benefit away every chance it gets and moves past the beefier blocking units. This serious impacts the units ability to fill its niche (that of a ranged sniper removing the weak and slow) and turns it into a rather subpar unit.

Thanks for the report. We will get this fixed in the next patch.

I wasn't saying it is a mistake, im saying its bad AI. No one expects genius but if a unit is ranged it should try to use range. The only time it should move forward when it can hit a target, is when it can hit the opponent/summoner directly. Then they should move forward to allow other units to move in. Instead range will stand in a big line behind the two most forward ranged.

Thanks Dev :)
Vuduman, ranged unit is not supposed to moving when there is opponent on their range.
Deadeye was not moving before the patch, dev intend to make the sniper is the one who moves, though i dont know why. :)
It's the game system (game rules), not the A.I.
So you can't just stack ranged unit in a column since some melee just can pass a hero when it move.
