Gem recruit question

So this change should sum up to 1 extra card, 100 extra miles and the guaranteed 6* counter not being resetted ^^
Very happy about that!
Now to go buy some gems 8-)

I'm not sure this is a good thing...now you must pull 10 or 11 singles to get a 6 star....before it was random...not sure i like what just happened here

Hi mee. We didn't change the single card pull, but just improved the 11 card pull to match the single-pull guarantee behavior. Both pull can get 6* randomly before the guarantee.

So it's basically the same...10 single pulls your guaranteed a six star and an 11 card draw you get a 6 star.what has changed?i pull 9 junk cards and do an 11 card recruit and i get 2 six star cards?...i don't see how that is better..

You would need to Durst's long post for exact details (viewtopic.php?f=36&t=13217#p25133), basically the 1-card pull method has a small chance of trigger more guarantee cards on special occasions, but now 11-card pull now does the same guarantee mechanism as 1-card draw. It won't be a huge noticeable difference, but it's a slight improvement of value to the 11-card draws.

mee, in the old system, the advantage of the 11-card draw was that you got an extra card (extra chance at a 6*), while the advantage of the single-card draw was twofold:

1) The counter for a guaranteed six-star reset every 9 cards rather than every 10.
2) The counter for a guaranteed six-star reset when you got a six-star, rather than once per 11 cards of draw.

I presume that what this update has done is give those two benefits to the multi-card draw as well. So now, you get an extra card, and the counter resets the same way the single-card draw one does. If that's true, then the single-card draw is no worse off and the multi-card draw is marginally better, as well as completely superior to the single-card draw.

I have a couple more gem recruit questions for everyone. Can you recruit 4star trash cards that can't evolve like magma fairy, skeletons, and whatnot. 2 can you recruit 5star and 6star dragons. Finally, has there ever been a sale or a possibility of a sale where you can do gem recruits for 10-50% off.

U can get any 4/5/6* card. Those sales are on buying the gems itself, never seen it on the gem draw. 4* satyrs havent been added to the gem draw as far as I know. Fortunately I've never seen any 'unevovable' 4* star card like the fairies, skeletons etc. So those are excluded from the gem draw as well.

admin wrote:I will post the actual mechanic so there won't be any more guessing or false theories. The chance of getting any of the 6* card (or any card period), per each card drawn, is exactly the same if you draw 1 at a time or 11 at a time. The only difference is how the 6-star card is guaranteed for the 500 gems spent:

- For single card draws, we record number of cards you drew that in a row that is below 6*. If you draw 9 in-a-row below 6-star using single card draw, we guarantee the 10th one is a 6-star.
- For the 11 card draw, we first draw 10 cards (with exact same odds as single cards), and if all 10 of them is not a 6* card, we guarantee the 11th being a 6 star* card.

The guaranteed 6* have the same chances of being a "great" 6-star cards in either method. This means if you have already draw several single card-draws without seeing a 6-star, then the single card draw might be a better value until you get a 6* card. If you haven't drawn cards or you just recently drew a 6-star card from single card draw, then 11-card draw may be a better potential value. Another minor advantage we added recently added to the 11-card draw is prevent duplicate cards within the draw, which has a unnoticeable effect of very slightly alter odds in favor of better cards. Even though it's using same odds for each card during the draw, luck may vary, and it sounds like some players may have experienced better luck drawing one-at-time. We do have many player that always do 11-card draws as well.

Is this still true? I have 1100 miles. with the initial 100 from the tutorial. I rechecked my monster list to see if i accidentally used it to strengthen but the only 6* i have are priestess(from tutorial) and water dragon that i evolved from 2 5*s, and the sea dragons. i believe my 10th pull was a 5*satyr...

Hi Carava, this is still true as it has not been changed recently. Are you sure you didn't get a 6 star card in the previous 9 draws and use it up? Please provide your game ID so that we can take a look.
Enjoy the game!
